Since T-Pain's release of "I'm Sprung" in August 2005 he has not missed a beat and his value is steadily accruing. When Faheem "T-Pain" Najm stepped on the scene with "Im Sprung" after that hit simmered down a lot of people were ready to write him off as a one hit artist but then he came with "I'm In Love With A Stripper" which broke the one hit curse. From there he just became the go to guy for a hot hook and there has'nt been a bad hook yet. He blessed E-40 with the hook on "Candy Girl" which became an instant hit and let's not forget Plies "Shawty", R. Kelly "Imma Flirt", Bow Wow's "Outta My System" and most recent one of the hottest songs out Kanye West "The Good Life". He has proven to everyone he is HOT right now and there are no nay sayers anywhere, no one even cares what his real voice sounds like just as long as the hook is hot and easy to remember(you know that's all you really can remember). His recent cd Epiphany released in June of 2007 has went Gold and although he has not sold platinum you cannot deny his talent and hard work. So far major features, songwriting and concerts have been keeping him doing his little happy dances all the way to the bank.

NEW ATL R&B SINGER THE-DREAM "SHAWTY IS A 10"
Atlanta producer/song writer Terius "The Dream" Nash can now add R&B singer to his list of titles. Def Jam's artist the Dream's new hit "Shawty is a 10" has been blowing up radio stations and having females in the club singing in unison every time it plays. However he's been a buzz in the music industry for years now, having made hits like "Everything" for B2k, "Me Against Music" for Brittany Spears and most recently Rihanna's "Umbrella" and J. Holiday's "Bed". This explains all of the "Aye", "Aye" and "Umbrella, ella, ella" in all of there songs, just remember The-Dream is responsible for that. The-Dream is very passionate about his music and credits Timberland, Missy and Aaliyah as inspirations for what he does. His debut CD "Love Hate" is a sure hit and is set to drop October 16th 2007.....my personal favorites are "Love Me all Summer, Hate me all Winter" and "Falsetto". Can you say triple threat Singer, Songwriter, Producer.....watch out Ne-yo. This success didn't come easy and he endured a lot of nay sayers including his own grandfather who told him he would never make money doing music but soon proved him wrong. His thoughts on his new album is "It's more of what I'm giving other people. It's like the 80s; it's musical. I'm doing the 'Umbrella' routine to this whole album. All of my records are singles. The album is really visual as well. It appeals to all your senses, similar to 'Thriller'." Ok The -Dream we are going to hold you to that.

KANYE IS SOMEWHERE TALKING ISH ABOUT BEING NUMBER 1 IN SALES OVER 50 CENT
Kanye West out sold 50 cent big time in this what turned out to be a friendly competition between 2 big rap artist. Kanye came in at 957,000 his first week and 50 sales were at 691,000. Even though 691,000 sold is very good but it looks poor in comparison. Overall Kanye West's cd is a solid collection of songs that make you think, dance and laugh with collaborations from only 3 artist, Mos Def, T- Pain and Chris Martin. A lot of artist need 20 guest on there cd to get sells and Kanye didn't do that, he just put his all into every song and did just damn fine. On the other hand 50 cent had collaborations from 8 artist and still couldn't pull it off. Let's face it even though Kanye flips out and acts like a baaaby he sold more because not only do his songs have more substance but he is a more likable person than 50 cent.
